1. Be a junior or senior design student who is planning to study design abroad for any length of time.

2. Complete the official scholarship application.

3. Be willing to keep a sketchbook of your adventure abroad that will be submitted to the Board of Directors of AIGA Boston to be used at a future date as a possible fundraising tool.

4. Submit current transcripts and registration forms from your school along with acceptance documents of your program abroad.

Awards:
$500 – Discovery Award (1-3 weeks study abroad)
$1,000 – Explorer Award (4-6 weeks study abroad)
$1,500 – Pioneer Award (7+ weeks study abroad)

Applications must be submitted no later than November 1, 2008. Members of the AIGA Boston community will review applications and make their decision by Dec 30, 2008.

Tim Moore was inspired painter, graphic designer and musician. He saw travel as an exhilarating way to come alive to new ways of seeing the world. His sudden tragic death at the age of 54 was an incomprehensible blow to all who loved his marvelous spirit, mischievous wit, and brilliant creative eye.
