Tim Moore Scholarship

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

AIGA Boston is honored to offer a scholarship in memory of our colleague, Tim Moore.

An inspired painter, graphic designer and musician, Tim saw travel as an exhilarating way to come alive to new ways of seeing the world. His sudden tragic death at the age of 54 was an incomprehensible blow to all who loved his marvelous spirit, mischievous wit, and brilliant creative eye.

AIGA Boston awarded its first Tim Moore Scholarship in 2007 and is pleased to announce our current 2009 winners.

Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship

Imagine you had everything you needed to share your vision with the world: talent, skill, dedication, desire.

Everything, that is, except money.

Each year, the Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship program receives hundreds of applications from young people in this very predicament: desperate to influence the world with their amazing talents but without the financial means to do so. Fortunately, with the support of generous individuals, organizations and corporations, Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships allow young people from minority and economically disadvantaged backgrounds not only to realize their artistic dreams, but also to give back to their communities.
